I originally drew this up to be a tattoo design - the snake shedding its skin and the cherry blossoms both signifying a rebirth of sorts. However, it came to life on this 17” pine round far better than it could have on my body.

Hours were spent burning and painting this piece to make it exactly as I’d envisioned. This is the only one of its kind in existence.
