hey there!

My name is Chelsea, and I'm the maker-in-chief here at Evergreen Daydreams. I've had a lifelong passion for art and have tried nearly every medium throughout the years, but nothing felt truly fulfilling - until I started working with wood.

Being able to manipulate such a rigid material into something that lives and breathes has been such a uniquely challenging experience, and I am always playing around with new techniques to make these pieces feel truly alive. I'm constantly amazed by the natural beauty of hardwoods and strive to preserve and highlight them in every project I undertake.

To be able to make art for a living is something I have always dreamed of, but this endeavor has granted me an opportunity beyond my wildest dreams - to share that art with people who deeply appreciate it. The countless meaningful connections I've made with customers, many of whom are commissioning pieces in times of grief, have been so overwhelming and beautiful. As I said, art has always been my passion - but this has made it feel more like my calling.

I am so happy you found me, however it happened! I hope to make something special for you someday, but thank you for being here either way. Having anyone want to see my art (or read this much about me!) still feels like a daydream - but you have helped turn it into my reality ☻
